
Two Free Appointments Per Year
All residential customers can make two appointments for appliance and e-waste collection in a calendar year. The appliance and e-waste program operates year round.
REQUIREMENTS
- Materials should be out no earlier than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Early set-outs may result in a fine.
- Material must be placed out for collection by 6:00 AM on the scheduled appointment day.
- All cancellations or reschedule requests should be made two business days prior to the scheduled appointment date. Failure to cancel may result in a charge for additional appointments during the calendar year.
- There is a minimum weight of at least 10 lbs. per pickup.
APPLIANCES
- Up to two (2) appliances will be collected at no charge.
- PLACEMENT: All appliances should be placed on the property, at the end of the driveway, visible, and easy to access with a minimum of two feet of clearance around the appliances.
E-WASTE
- Up to four e-waste items
- Several small handheld devices, such as cell phones, calculators, etc. can be placed in one box and count as one of the four large e-waste items
- PLACEMENT: All e-waste should be placed on the property, at the end of the driveway, visible, and easy to access.

- Fluorescent Lamps and Bulbs
- Radioactive Devices - smoke detectors, exit signs, thermostats
- Solar Panels including landscape lights and lamps
- Bio-Hazard - i.e. medical test kits, syringes, medical wastes •
- Hazardous Household Waste - pesticides, paint, used oil, or cleaning supplies.
- Mercury Containing - electric irons, thermostats, switches, and broken lamps.
- Pressurized Containers - such as fire extinguishers propane canisters and butane canisters.
- Items containing adhered lithium batteries (e.g. Hoverboards, Dyson vacuum, Samsung Galaxy 6 cell phones, etc.)
- Excessive E-Waste Breakage
- Techno Trash (e.g., CDs, VHS tapes and DVDs.)
