Farm-to-Fork Al fresco Restaurant Dining Program

Farm-to-Fork Al Fresco

Following the release of Sacramento County’s new Public Heath Order, which now allows restaurants to offer dine-in service, the City of Sacramento has launched an expedited process to help local restaurants participate in the City’s new “Farm-to-Fork Al Fresco” outdoor dining program. This includes an expedited permit process for restaurants wishing to expand dining facilities into public sidewalks and/or on street parking areas. This process includes closure of parts of streets and/or sidewalks such that they can be utilized as space for serving customers while maintaining space for mobility. In addition, restaurants wishing to expand into private parking areas do not need to obtain City permits to do so.

If you would like City staff to follow up with you regarding this opportunity, you can complete the Interest Form, contact us at, or call us at (916) 808-7196.
